The project is complete. Below is documentation of the process of constructing the cabinet and it’s components in the order it was completed. I was able to incorporate 2D and 3D design, input and output devices, programming, 3D printing, computer controlled machining and cutting. Rather than recap the entire project here, I added comments nearest the picture that shows the progress.

Machine Building update- it is working, the first pen holder did not work at all, the pen is way too loose, the one we designed and printed worked much better, we ended up taking off the top guide spacers, this helped to keep the pen against the board much better. After a learning curve with the software everything worked well.
